This policy describes the static browser version of Blackjack Counter Tool hosted on GitHub Pages and the self-contained HTML file. The Android application is a separate implementation; this page does not describe Android platform behavior.
Website delivery and hosting
When you open the hosted web page, your browser connects to GitHub Pages to request the site files. GitHub provides the hosting service and may process request data under its own policies. This initial delivery is separate from the counter's calculations.
You can also download the web project, including its local image assets, and open BJCounterTool.html from that folder. Counting calculations run in the browser and do not require network requests. Keeping the assets/ folder alongside the HTML file also makes the local QR code, developer photograph, and project icons available offline.
Counting data and browser storage
The web counter does not upload your cards, running count, shoe state, action log, or counting sessions. Calculations and action-log display happen locally in the current browser page. No account is required.
The app stores only your optional dark or light theme preference in browser local storage under the key bj-theme. This preference remains on your device unless you clear browser storage. Counting-session state is not saved to local storage.
Analytics, advertising, and third parties
The web application contains no analytics or behavioral-tracking scripts, advertising trackers, third-party SDKs, or remotely loaded fonts and images. The local PayPal QR image does not contact PayPal when the page loads.
Links to GitHub, related projects, email, and PayPal are user-initiated. If you choose to open PayPal, PayPal handles that visit under its own privacy practices. Your browser or email provider may also handle a mail link according to its settings.
Permissions and children
The browser version does not request device permissions. It is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If the web application's data handling or this policy changes, the updated policy will be published at this address with a revised date.
